About ECOBAY Landscape | Design

Here at ECOBAY we view landscaping as a blend of science and art. We're a growing landscaping company dedicated to creating functional and sustainable landscapes! We understand that as landscapers we have both direct and indirect influence over land use, invasive species, polluted groundwater, erosion, stormwater runoff, chemical contaminants, forest buffers, and so much more! We work primarily with residential clients, all of whom live within the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. On top of that, about half of our clientele are located within the Critical Area, making sustainable landscaping practices/techniques our top priority. We recently became certified Chesapeake Bay Landscape Professionals specialized in designing, installing, and maintaining sustainable landscapes. We offer our employees room to grow by challenging them to learn new skills, and knowledge, and encouraging them to be self-driven, independent workers. Our employees are given the opportunity to earn various certifications within the landscaping/construction industry as well as learn about sustainable landscaping practices to better solve the environmental impacts our clients may face. We're here to prove there ARE essential and rewarding careers in the landscape industry! Types Of Work You Can Find Us Doing: - Storm-Water Management: Raingardens, Bio-Infiltration Swales, Gabion Baskets, Burying Downspouts, and River-Rock Riprap. - Hardscaping: Patios, Walkways, Steps, Garden Walls, Retaining Walls, and Fire-pits. - Landscape Design & Installation - Environmental Consulting - Restoration/Enhancement of Buffers and Streams
