Ecolink is a fresh face in the field of ecological consulting, providing innovative, timely and accurate advice to planners, developers, government agencies and a range of land managers who need to understand the ecological values of their land parcel. The directors, Stuart Cooney and Simon Scott, tired of working in the traditional consultancy model, strive to provide ecological advice that is concise and relevant to the clientâs needs. The difference at Ecolink, is that the project manager is involved in all aspects of the job, from conception to completion and the right expertise is sourced and utilised to eliminate unwanted surprises in the government assessment process. With nearly twenty years of ecological experience between them, the Principal Ecologists of Ecolink, saw that the process of giving ecological advice could be done better. Having been responsible for the output of dozens of projects at traditional consultancy firms, Simon and Stuart have experienced a wide range of projects and worked with a large number of clients with different expectations and requirements. In forming Ecolink, Simon and Stuart use this extensive experience to provide high quality advice in an innovative, cost effective and timely manner. Simon and Stuart have complementary skills, each specialising in different branches of ecology, while having the depth of consulting experience to successfully deliver outcomes that exceed the clientâs expectations. In 2014 Ecolink expanded when Bryan Roberts joined us as a Senior Botanist. With experience in consulting botany, council work and expertise in the Victorian Volcanic Plain, Bryan will strengthen the expertise that Ecolink brings to Melbourne's northern and western growth areas. 2014 also saw Ecolink spread its wings into NSW and ACT with projects allowing us to travel more widely in southern Australia.
