About ECOM Engineering
ECOM Engineering, Inc. was established in 1997 by Eric C. Johnson, P.E. and Mark S. Schlenker. Our firm offers full electrical engineering, renewable energy and low voltage design services for a wide variety of market sectors. The majority of our design projects fall within the areas of Healthcare, Municipal, Commercial, Education, Historical, and Critical Facilities. In addition to traditional electrical, lighting and power designs, our technology division is expanding rapidly including Voice and Data Cabling Infrastructure, Fire/Life Safety Systems, Security/Access Control and Audio Visual Systems. We also provide Telecommunications Pre-design Services for to assist the client, architect or builder to address the technology systems in advance of building design and not as an afterthought. We are licensed in California, Arizona, Nevada, Washington, Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana and with a license pending in Oregon. Additionally, we have several Professional Electrical Engineers, Registered Communications Distribution Designers (RCDD), NICET certified, Lighting Design Certified and LEED certified individuals on staff.
