Founded in 2015, Econac is owned and operated by Dirk Vael and Renzo De Bondt, who jointly have 30 years of experience in the concrete and construction industry. The company develops and distributes advanced building solutions designed to improve construction and maintenance efficiency including advanced wall anchor solutions, spacing systems and the improved maintenance of wet zones in households and businesses. The company specializes in both the development of new products as well as working on the improvement of existing products for customers in the building industry. Based in Mechelen, Belgium, Econac serves construction companies, contractors and building specialists all over the world and is a leading innovator in its field. Its small size enables it to operate in a lean, efficient and flexible manner, enabling it to respond to varying customer needs individually and rapidly. Today the company builds its business on three core product offerings to the building, construction and maintenance industry; its Eca-Lift® twin wall anchor range, spacers for floor castings called Speedies® and an inventive solution called Clean-Angle® which reduces the impact of mould and dirt in bathroom wet zones. Econac introduced its Clean-Angle® in early 2016 and simultaneously filed a patent for its advanced ECA-Lift®, an anchor specially designed for lifting concrete twin walls, was filled for a patent in 2016. The company is currently working on technical approvals for the product in several European countries including one for the distribution of the ECA-Lift® in France. Its latest model, the ECA-Lift® SW designed to lift concrete sandwich panels, is in development.
