ECONET is an investment company in the field of health & wellness. As a holding company of Aloecorp, Unigen, Hilltop Gardens and Univera, ECONET also provides shared services to this vertically integrated business system. This system links with ECONET’s Asian affiliates to create an entire value chain including Aloecorp’s farming and production, Unigen’s Research and Development, Naturetech’s manufacturing and processing, and Univera’s product development and sales. This global system enables us to realize the corporate mission of “Bringing the best of nature to humankind.” Company History The Company story began in the 1970s after late Chairman Yun-Ho Lee discovered the power of nutraceuticals and felt compelled to share these health benefits with others. Mr. Lee began growing aloe in greenhouses and went on to establish Namyang Aloe, Ltd., the most successful direct selling company in Korea. He and his son, Bill Lee, went on to create the Aloe Research Foundation, establishing unprecedented quality standards for the nutraceutical industry. Continuing his father’s legacy, Bill Lee founded Aloecorp in Lyford, Texas, in 1988, and later Unigen in 1996. A later expansion took place with the establishment of Univera in 1998, enabling the Company to “bring the best of nature” to as many people as possible. ECONET was created in 2003 to guard and guide all U.S. operations.
