Our Story When the solar boom began, our founders were subcontracting as licensed electricians. Responsible for installing over 50,000 solar panels and adding over 13 million Watts of power to the grid, they started to see a dark side to the industry. Big sales companies were charging over the top prices for solar systems they had little knowledge of, and most of these companies provided no aftercare. However, what the industry was rife with, was 'Bobs'. Self-employed electricians that were installing systems and charging low prices to capitalise on the demand. These ‘Bobs’ thought solar was an easy business to get into, until they realised the cost of guaranteed aftercare. That’s why Econnect Solar was born. No upfront cost Instead of charging over the top prices, we developed the Econnect pricing formula. By calculating the overall cost, solar rebate, finance repayments, bill size and kWh usage, we design unique payment plans where your solar savings cover the cost of your system.
