About ÉCONOMUSÉE® Network Society of British Columbia

The ÉCONOMUSÉE® Network Society (ENS) is an international non-profit organization founded in 1992 and based in Quebec City, Canada. It is also the creator, owner and promoter of the ÉCONOMUSÉE® concept and its five other concepts living under its experience brand Artisans at Work. While the ÉCONOMUSÉE® Network Society of British Columbia operates under the exclusive umbrella of ENS in close contact and cooperation, it functions primarily as a self-managed BC non-profit association for its BC members. ENSBC’s mission is to preserve, perpetuate, and promote elements of intangible heritage, including the knowledge and know-how passed down from generation to generation. Through its Artisans at Work brand and the development of heritage-related projects, ENSBC contributes to the safeguarding and celebration of a wide variety of traditional cultural practices. Its initiatives reflect a commitment to fostering vibrant communities and supporting regional development in a sustainable way. ENSBC strengthens the long-term viability of artisan-entrepreneurs and organizations that embody this know-how by offering entrepreneurial guidance and introducing concepts that enhance visibility, attract new audiences, and generate revenue. Finally, through its mission and the nature of its member enterprises, ENSBC is proud to play a role in advancing responsible and sustainable tourism.
