Most teenagers do not have the vital knowledge of financial literacy they will need in their everyday life like the difference between debit and credit cards, what a credit score is, etc. Economics helps teens figure out how the global market works and could be a major interest for them in college. Business helps teenagers understand how the companies they purchase from function every day. It teaches teens how to start their own businesses and the many different types of businesses there are! Financial Literacy is a major component of our everyday lives that most high school students do not learn about until they are adults or finished with college. At EconUnited, members have the ability to learn more about economics, finance &business through our online lessons, slideshows, videos, & workshops. Members can also use their knowledge gained from EconUnited while we compete in online competitions hosted by other organizations & by ourselves! EconUnited welcomes high school students worldwide. We are glad to say we have a diverse group of members from different states in the U.S. & countries internationally.
