The goal for this program is simple: advocacy and support for local environmental and conservancy projects! With more and more Americans recognizing the imperiled condition of the planet, there is a growing demand for wanting to make a difference. Dane County is home to new and innovative projects geared towards healing the environment that would greatly benefit from more support! We wanted to make it as simple as possible for anyone of any background to show their support for local conservation happening in their own backyards! By purchasing an Eco Perks card at a participating business, you are donating to local projects and opening up a years worth of discounts for yourself at any of the businesses that are part of the program! Cards are renewable every year so you can enjoy the benefits for years to come! As a local business, participating is free, and would simply involve offering a discount (of your choosing) to customers who have EcoPerks cards. As a participant, you can expect to see benefits such as: New customer base; Free advertising; Increased foot traffic; Increased customer loyalty, relationships and appreciation; A free EcoPerks card; and Supporting local conservation efforts! We understand that a company’s brand represents their market identity—who they are, what they do, and what they believe in. You can think of EcoPerks as a brand marketing mechanism such as “Fair Trade”. EcoPerks is to businesses is like “fair trade” to coffee. Your participation shows consumers you care for the environment and support local actions that aim to make a difference!
