EcoTopic AB was founded in 2012. At that time, biochar was almost completely unknown, and we dreamed of working full-time with our great passion. The idea of making the world better while using, developing, and challenging our best personal qualities and skills was exciting! Our dream became a reality faster than expected, and since then, we have been part of building an entirely new industry. We are a small company united by the need for the freedom to work when, where, and how we want, as well as the motivation to constantly be challenged by new assignments in a rapidly evolving industry. At EcoTopic, we work together because our skills and personalities complement and strengthen each other. Our previous professions include wastewater treatment, energy production, business development, climate work, photography, film and project management. The development of biochar is growing rapidly, and we have both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in many areas. We collaborate with various producers to conduct production tests, perform filter tests on both biochar and substrate blends. Through our sister company, Biokolprodukter Global AB, which develops and sells biochar, urban soils and carbon sinks, we have a good sense of how the market for biochar and carbon sink is evolving.
