Eden Autism is a non-profit organization dedicated to all aspects of Autistic life, from health, housing and education, to personal development and work placements The Homes: Almost two decades ago, Psychologist Dr. Alexander Aiss started this organization with a clear vision of creating tailor made environments for adults with autism. Building a stable, secure foundation from which our clientele can live, grow and thrive. Now, with five homes, Eden has become a shining light good practice. This good Practice has been modeled, and shared countless times, with many different organizations. Now we find ourselves with a long waiting list of potential clients that need our services. We pride ourselves on being a home in the real sense for everyone, providing support and guidance to our residence and their families. This together with our experienced team of trained professionals and with the generosity of our many volunteers has made Dr Aiss vision to become reality. The Day Center: At the same time as our homes began to grow, we created full day programs for the resident's, which incorporated both in-house and external work programs, daily therapies with professionals, Sessions to develop life and communication skills as well as community outreach. Our daily programing became a model to be acclaimed by inspectors and external professionals alike, and duplicated nationwide. Our approach is person centered and everything is tailored to each individual. The growth and advancement of our clientele is both measurable and demonstrable. From simple eye contact to full time job placements, helping Autism to succeed is our core value. Opening the Autist to the world is opening the world to Autism.
