At Edge Analytics, our mission is to empower organisations, planners and policymakers with robust insight and evidence to ensure that investment in products, services and infrastructure is aligned with future demographic change. Our team specialises in demographic data analytics, with a unique blend of expertise in geography, data science and forecasting. Our ethos is to add value, provide insight and aid understanding, through robust, transparent intelligence. Founded in 2005, Edge Analytics grew out of collaborations with academics, researchers and spatial modelling practitioners at the University of Leeds. This work encompassed approaches to demographic forecasting and location modelling in the context of the future development of places, cities and regions. Since our formation, we have worked collaboratively with a diverse range of private and public sector organisations, defining solutions and approaches for an expanding list of industry sectors where future demographics are a key consideration for short- and long-term planning.
