About Edgerton Teen Center
Research and experience have taught me much and it is my hope that readers will be inspired, educated, and motivated in their own lives and ministries. In 1993, I created a charitable organization focused on teen-centric indoor activities and outdoor adventures. As the founder and acting president of Non-Toxic Youth Alternatives, Inc. (DBA Edgerton Teen Center), I continue to develop an integrative curiosity-driven teen center that incorporates hands-on educational programs, active participation in the fine arts and skilled trades, indoor recreational games, along with an expanding outdoor retreat schedule that has included rock climbing and rappelling, wild caving, cruising on waterways in the newly refurbished pontoon boat, kayaks, and canoes, and north woods adventures through the camp. Here, the organization owns all the equipment necessary for fun and safe recreational activities and its volunteers are skilled in their respective roles. I earned his BA from Moody Bible Institute, an MACL from Dallas Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from Northern Seminary.
