About Edible DC

Published quarterly in time with the seasons, edibleDC celebrates the farmers, growers, fishers, home cooks, chefs and others who energize our culinary community. We are part of the James Beard Award winning Edible Communities, a nationwide group of locally published magazines. Like the other 80+ edible publications, we celebrate the foods that make our community unique. Our mission is to serve as a community resource that highlights the engaging and inspirational stories of farmers, artisan producers, sustainability innovators, chefs, local restaurants, vintners, craft brewers, distillers, home cooks and gardeners throughout DC, Maryland, and Virginia who energize our culinary community and strengthen the link between farm and table. Published quarterly with gorgeous photography and insightful writing, edibleDC distributes magazines through our advertisers, subscription, and other select venues including groceries, restaurants, boutique hotels, private clubs and farmer's markets. Edible DC digital platforms provides additional touch points for readers to connect to valuable content that both reflects and is additive to the magazine.
