About Edmi Help by TrendCatch Gives Back

EDMI Help is a nonprofit organization dedicated to guiding injured individuals—especially low-income families and immigrants—through the recovery process with dignity, clarity, and care. Each year in New York, over 1.5 million injury-related emergency visits occur—and nearly half of trauma patients are discharged with no follow-up care. For non-English speakers, immigrants, and underserved populations, this often leads to long-term setbacks, financial ruin, or exploitation. EDMI Help exists to close that gap. We provide free, multilingual support in English, Spanish, and Creole, helping individuals navigate trauma recovery, medical appointments, transportation, legal awareness, and financial protection. Our trained outreach teams operate inside hospitals, urgent care centers, and community health hubs to meet people where they are—physically and emotionally. In addition to recovery education, we host workshops on fraud prevention, mental wellness, financial literacy, and injury prevention in high-risk industries such as construction, delivery, and home health care. EDMI Help is powered by TrendCatch Gives Back Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We partner with hospitals, elected officials, local organizations, and trusted professionals to expand access to post-injury support and empower communities most often left behind.
