About Edmonton Exchanger
Founded in 1975, Edmonton Exchanger employs over 1,000 people. We are a multidivisional company that features a wide range of products and services for applications in industries that include oil and gas, petrochemical and power generation. We specialize in fabricating large-scale pressure vessel components, and our steel forming capacities are some of the largest of their kind. We offer the most extensive one-stop pressure vessel head-forming and shell-rolling capabilities in North America, as well as one of the world's largest inventories of pressure vessel-quality steel plate. Additionally, we offer a wide range of machining services and specialize in large-scale milling and tube sheet drilling for heat exchanger applications. We also feature a pipe fabrication facility, a custom fabrication shop, and a heat exchanger services shop. EDEX also provides on-site plant maintenance services for the petrochemical industry, refineries, and fertilizer plants. Our services include specialized field machining and controlled bolting, as well as complete turn-key petrochemical plant and refinery shutdown projects. In the case of emergency maintenance requirements, we are capable of mobilizing a 1,500-person work force within a very short time frame.
