We are an independent, modern and energetic practice of dedicated Mechanical and Electrical Building Services design engineers. We offer a personal, dependable, reliable and competitive design service from senior and experienced engineers with a wide range of engineering skills. Our practice was established in 1991 and the current Directors and Associate have been practicing together since then. Together with a proven team of qualified and talented individuals we are all committed to excellence in engineering design. We have vast experience in engineering for business, industry, healthcare, education and local authorities to public and private clients throughout Scotland. Our proven dedication to quality engineering design standards, all M&E services and our continuing proficiency in the field allows us to bring a unique perspective to each client and project. We also have a proven record of competence in renewable technology and sustainability and are dedicated in assisting in developing a low carbon economy. We have gained respect for our expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering from many of our long term customers. As proof of commitment to our customers, we designed and built our own architecturally designed, 700 sq.m. purpose built offices in Livingston, West Lothian. The main fully networked, air conditioned, open plan floor space offers staff a modern and comfortable working environment and is fully owned by the founding Partners. We are committed to providing a quality consultancy service to all our clients and have achieved ISO 9001 certification. We are able to demonstrate to customers and suppliers that the systems we have in place meet the high standards set out by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). EDP Consulting Engineers have reached the standards required to gain "Acclaim" accreditation. Our Staff also hold professional memberships with professional associations including A.C.E, CIBSE, Constructionline and ILP.
