About Educating Students Together

Educating Students Together (EST) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to increasing college access for youth from foster care and low-income communities. Founded in 1987, our mission is to support these underserved populations in overcoming barriers to higher education. Through our College Access Program, we provide college counseling, mentoring, and financial education to ensure students not only enroll but graduate from four-year colleges. As a Black-led organization, we are committed to addressing the equity gaps faced by students of color, especially those in foster care. EST’s services help break the cycle of generational poverty by empowering youth with the tools they need to succeed academically and professionally.
