About Education Innovations

Educational Consulting Firm that creates innovative solutions for educational challenges facing schools (private, public, charter, start ups), school districts, non profits, and families. Our main focus is to help people get into college, succeed in college, and prepare for life after college. Education Innovations, LLC was started by Amour Carthy. She earned degrees from Spelman College: History & Education; Temple University: African American Studies; and Harvard Graduate School of Education: Education Policy & Management. Amour Alexander has always been passionate about education due to her experiences in both private and public educational institutions. Amour Carthy has over two decades of experience in the field education ranging from being a tutor, teacher, Dean of a school, and a school district liaison that helped ensure that a large school district meet federal guidelines required by the No Child Left Behind Act. Her experiences in public school districts in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Boston, and Philadelphia led her to believe that many in educational institutions had good intentions however most did not allocate adequate time to observe the current conditions of their institutions so that they could understand best practices as well as conditions that could be improved. As a result, she began Education Innovations, LLC to help families navigate the admissions process for entrance into private and public institutions of high learning as well as schools to improve efficiency and the quality of education so that its students are prepared for their lives beyond graduation.
