About EEN

EEN specializes in handcrafted Scandinavian chairs with sculptural character and story. Hand-selected artisan interior from the 1930s-60s, individually redressed in respect to their natural patina - a revival of the original through handcrafted contemporary aesthetics, colors and compositions. Each chair is carefully selected and redressed in uniquely designed fabrics from Denmark and Sweden. Transforming a chair while retaining its personality is an incredibly process. Our approach is thoughtful and each project is developed with a tacit sense of material and shape. A chair from EEN is not solely a piece of furniture. It holds a story of the touch, time and artistry behind it. Colors and textures may change but the shape and personality remain. EEN was recently behind the transformation of Hotel Hornbækhus. With a selection of meticulously curated pieces we gently rediscovered the whimsical and spellbinding atmosphere of each room - creating a place of generosity, fairy tale and tranquillity. EEN is situated in the old part of Copenhagen, in a two-story historic building overlooking the canals of Christianshavn.
