About EF English First Shijiazhuang
EF English First has been in the city since 2004 where it has grown from one school to currently three with further plans to open more schools in the city soon. With a total of over 4000 students and an academic team of over 50 across the three schools we are the largest language training centre in the city. Concentrating mainly on the kids and teen market, our students range in ages from 3 -16, although on rare occasions we may teach adults on a one-to-one basis. With teachers from the USA, UK, Canada, and South Africa and of course China our vibrant mix of different backgrounds lead to a truly international atmosphere. This mix of people and the relatively low cost of living means you are always guaranteed a good time whether that be clubbing, dining out on the wide selection of local and international food in the city, walking in the parks and nearby mountains, trying sports such as skiing or archery or just generally relaxing with friends and colleagues. Shijiazhuang being located an hour south of Beijing is excellently located for travel within and without China. Whilst 'small' by Chinese standards the city of four million or so is modernising whilst retaining its distinctive Chinese feel. An excellent place for budding Chinese language learners to practice their Mandarin the younger people in the city often have a good grasp of English to help those from overseas who need it.
