Efficacy Investments, LLC (“EI-LLC”) is an investment firm focused on acquiring small and medium-sized enterprises, associated commercial real estate, multifamily residences, and short-term rental properties. David Sonn and Jennifer Lynch are the founders of EI-LLC. Mr. Sonn has been working in the Healthcare Technology sector and Ms. Lynch in Early Childhood Education, each with over two decades experience in their own trades. Coming together in 2016 they begin their investment journey. Each having started their own businesses and expanding into the ownership and operation of both commercial and residential real estate; their experiences and core values are the principles behind the investment strategies of Efficacy Investments. EI-LLC is interested in acquiring companies with annual revenue in the $500 thousand to $2.5 million range, at transaction prices under $5 million. Businesses with a focus on Childcare, Early Childhood Education, Senior Care and Healthcare Technology related industries located in the Northeast are preferred, but other locations and industries will be considered. EI-LLC will purchase commercial real estate associated with business acquisitions. EI-LLC has focused its Multifamily Residence investments in Worcester County MA and Short-Term rentals are targeted in the Coastal areas of Washington County RI. We enjoy working with and learning from experienced entrepreneurs and property owners in realizing their transitional goals. Depending on the desires of an owner, we will work to accommodate favorable tax savings M&A strategies by engaging in deals involving seller financing, providing partial liquidity, or purchasing companies and real estate outright.
