About EFIA - European Fencing Industry Association
Established since 1982, EFIA is a not-for-profit trade association serving the needs of the UK fencing industry. Members include fencing product manufacturers, stockists, installers, and other individuals and organisations with a professional interest in the fencing industry. EFIA exists to promote safety, quality and professionalism throughout the UK fencing industry; to provide business opportunities, industry news and technical information to its members; to encourage inter-member trading and collaboration; and to raise the profile and image of the UK fencing industry. EFIA is a "hands on organisation for a hands on industry, offering real and practical benefits for sensible money". EFIA is the official Licensed Assessment Body for the fencing industry under the CHAS (Contractors Health & Safety Assessment) scheme, and also represents fencing employers on the British Standards Institute's BS1722 (Fencing) committee and Lantra's Fencing Industry Groups. Our members can benefit from our informative, regular newsletter; subsidised CHAS accreditation; new business leads and up to the minute industry news. We also support our members in running their businesses by answering technical and business queries and providing document templates. Our unique online Fencing Trade Portal offers members the opportunity to buy and sell quickly and easily with a single post directed to the right people. All in all, EFIA serves the interests of its members so that whilst they are busy putting fences up, or supervising them, EFIA can help you develop your business by providing opportunities to win more work, reduce costs, improve quality, reputation and professionalism.
