About EFL

EFL is one of East Anglia’s most established architectural roofing and building conservation contractors, working both locally and nationally on a range of projects including new build, restoration and refurbishment projects. We work with many clients and architects across the construction industry, including the residential, ecclesiastic and commercial sectors. We work as both main and subcontractors allowing our perspective clients to have us take care of the complete project or come in as a sub contracting basis. We are a proud family owned and run company with a very tight knit team of craftsman who are at the top of their games, many of whom have been with us most of their working lives. Our building conservation division, with our team of highly skilled craftsman undertake sympathetic care and restoration of some of the nations oldest and most prestigious buildings. We use the same traditional skills and crafts that have been used for centuries in the repair of historic buildings, these include traditional carpentry and joinery, stone masonry, lime and flint work and traditional lime plastering to name but a few. We work on churches, cathedrals, stately homes, country houses and listed private homes of all sizes. Our Architectural Roofing, Cladding & Lead work division covers all aspects of lead works, hard metal roofing and cladding. We have an expertly skilled team who hold the highest accreditation's and qualifications from industry bodies. We undertake all Roofing and cladding works in Lead, Zinc, Stainless steel and copper on projects ranging from sheds all the way up to cathedral nave roofs.
