About EFNI
The European Forum for New Ideas is an international congress of the business circles with the participation of distinguished representatives of the world of politics, culture, science and media. It has been organised since 2011 by the Lewiatan Confederation in cooperation with BUSINESSEUROPE, the City of Sopot, as well as Polish and foreign companies and institutions. The purpose of the Forum is to develop ideas for the strong Europe and competitive economy open to civilisation and technological trends. Every year, during three-day debates, over 1100 participants discuss on how the Old Continent should be rebuilt so as to better deal with challenges of today’s world. They ask specific questions and try to find constructive solutions to the major challenges facing the European and global economy. The conclusions and ideas put forward during the debates are then forwarded, in the form of recommendations, to the authorities of the European Union, the governments of the Member States, and the relevant institutions and media. The 11th edition of EFNI will take place between October 12th - 14th, 2022 in Sopot.
