Hugh Goodwin Academy for the Arts Northwest Environmental Studies Academy Retta Brown Academy for Communication & Technology Yocum Academy for Math & Science Washington Middle School (Grades 5 & 6) and Barton Junior High (Grades 7 & 8) provide challenging courses and creative electives that allow our students to pursue knowledge and tools for life. El Dorado High School (9-12) prepares students for college or career with a variety of educational offerings, including 20 Advanced Placement courses, and extracurricular activities. Our music and athletics programs are top in the state. The El Dorado Promise scholarship program, funded by Murphy Oil Corporation, provides college tuition and fees scholarships to graduates of El Dorado High School. This access to higher education creates an environment for learning and a hope for the future of our students that begins in kindergarten and follows our students through to high school graduation.
