About Elettrorava

The story began in 1922 when Officina Elettromeccanica Ing. Antonio Rava was founded in Turin by the grandfather of the current owners, and was then transformed into Elettrorava S.p.A. in 1966, shortly after it was transferred to its current factory, which occupies an area of 20,000 square meters, 8,000 square meters of which are covered. Elettrorava boasts a long experience in the electromechanical field and from 1922 until today it has always developed products linked by a single thread. The first products were small and medium motors and electric tools. Over time, new challenges were faced that led to the development of technologies for special motors for industrial applications with speeds up to 90,000 rpm. The continuous technological research, combined with the company's growth, allowed the company to introduce innovative products on the market such as balancing machines in the 50s, turbomolecular high vacuum pumps in the 60s, thin film deposition systems under vacuum in the 80s. The continuous demand for competitiveness and the specialization of the markets have led Elettrorava to concentrate its efforts on two product lines with high added value: the current production includes universal balancing machines and thin film deposition systems under high vacuum. The success and reliability of Elettrorava's products bring the company's fame beyond national borders: in 1994 the plant in Barcelona was founded: Elettrorava Iberica Servicios SL. Today Elettrorava has a commercial network operating in the main national and international markets.
