The Moab area is a mecca for outdoor roped activities, and there is an increasing demand by visitors to be guided by safe, certified, trained Highline guides and coaches. Elevate Outdoors seeks to be the first ever business offering safe, fun, environmentally and socially conscious Slacklining and Highlining guiding services to individuals and groups, among other services such as hiking, rappelling, canyoneering and climbing. With very few women guides in Moab, Elevate Outdoors is excited to bring a woman-owned operated business to the area, with Faith Dickey at the helm and as the lead guide. With aims to not only be an industry leader in the realm of Highlining, Faith is also an AMGA certified Rock Guide Apprentice and is eager to create clinics and classes specifically designed to help new climbers learn effective and safe techniques for climbing outside. With a strong emphasis on overcoming mental barriers, Elevate Outdoors will not only be a premier guiding service, but a leader in helping people learn skills they can take with them to apply to life’s everyday challenges, such as managing fear, techniques to move through self-doubt, and many other nuggets of wisdom that Faith learned while balancing thousands of feet off the ground for the last fourteen years! Additionally, Elevate Outdoors plans to market to the local population of Moab, many of whom have not had the opportunity to experience the incredible natural playground in their own backyard. Through locals-discounts and future partnerships with nonprofits, Elevate Outdoors seeks to help get disadvantaged or otherwise marginalized groups outside, to experience the incredible array of roped activities this place has to offer.
