About Eleventh Hour Rescue
Eleventh Hour Rescue, based in Morris County NJ, is a primarily VOLUNTEER based, no kill rescue that saves animals on Death Row from high kill shelters. Our Mission: Focusing on saving Death Row Animals from kill shelters; fostering them in a home; providing them with all the love and medical attention they require until they find their forever homes; educating the community about the animal over population problem and the importance of spaying and neutering. Eleventh Hour Rescue is made up of dedicated individuals who believe that innocent pets deserve love and a place to live where they are honored and cared for. No dog or cat deserves to die simply because it does not have a home. We rescue dogs and cats at their Eleventh Hour--when they are scheduled to be put to death by shelters that can no longer care for them. Through our adoption services, we give them a second chance at a happy and fulfilled life. Until they are adopted whether they are in foster homes, our kennel or adoption centers, each dog and cat receives a clean, safe living environment, fresh food, water, medical attention, & most important an abundance of love and care until they find their forever homes. Other than a small staff of kennel caretakers, Eleventh Hour Rescue is run completely by our caring, overachieving, amazing volunteers, even our officers do not get paid. We do not discriminate against any dog or cat based upon breed, age, or medical condition. We take on tough cases whenever we can, and many times this means extra medical treatments to save an animal. This commitment comes with additional expenses, and we are beyond GRATEFUL for the continued support of passionate animal lovers like YOU that contribute so generously to help us save lives every day. All funds go directly to supporting our animals and their needs. We graciously accept donations to help with medical costs, transporting dogs, boarding, feeding, fostering and facility maintenance. We are a 501c3 charity.
