About Elevon EX

Elevon Ex is a nonprofit STEM initiative that engages youth with accessible, hands-on and inspiring aerospace engineering experiences. We build and supply aerospace engineering buildable kits and the students learn about aerospace engineering concepts, like aerodynamics, flying stability, and design thinking through interactive learning. Our goal is to engage the next generation of young innovators, especially youth from under-resourced or underserved communities. Elevon Ex exposes students to low-cost tools that ignite curiosity while developing critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills in students, so that we can give them the confidence and experience that will allow them to explore aerospace engineering and other opportunities in STEM fields. Our kits are designed to teach technical skills, while introducing exploration, experimentation, and passion for aerospace and entry into STEM careers! We believe that the future of innovation starts with equitable access to experiences of high-quality STEM education and by integrating the principles of engineering with excitement of flight, Directing with Elevon Ex connects to tangible things. We strive to take theory out of the classroom and demonstrations into after-school programs, and community programs. We want aerospace to be in classrooms and every after-school program and we want to engage youth from underserved or under-resourced communities because every student and every stakeholder must share in this dream.
