The technology invented by Elfuturis is genuinely disruptive for the global electric machine industry, both motors and alternators. The innovative multilayer PCB stator winding topology for axial flux electric machines saves around 20-25% of the PCB stator winding losses, preserving the maximum possible efficiency of the electromagnetic interaction in the winding's active zone. It increases the overall efficiency of the electric machine by minimum 3-4% and can potentially save up to 30GWh per year in the small and medium power motors’ global ranges. The patented topology also reduces the winding size by 5-8% and can easily combine solitary PCBs in series and/or in parallel to obtain the optimum parameters of a unified stator winding. The application of the new topology has no limitations, and the use of axial flux machines as an alternative to the classic iron-core type is growing exponentially. Elfuturis designs and produces axial flux permanent magnet synchronous alternators using the new PCB stator winding topology. Moreover, the most substantial application of the new topology can be found in motors for electric vehicles (bikes, drones, copters), automation, household appliances, micro- and servo-motors, robotics, etc, so Elfuturis is open to cooperation with industrial partners to conduct joint R&D and adaptation of this high-performance technology for particular products and market needs.
