About Elizabeth Etiquette
Elizabeth Etiquette offers traditional etiquette coaching for all ages and social settings, from formal events to the corporate boardroom. As everyday communication becomes more impersonal, the impressions we make in face-to-face encounters have become increasingly important. President Elizabeth Burnett brings a diverse wealth of experience in etiquette training to her clients, who range in age from children (whose parents see good manners as an essential life skill) to professionals who wonder if improving their social skills will help them move up the corporate ladder or strengthen their relationships with customers. Elizabeth’s wide-ranging etiquette expertise enables her to coach people of all backgrounds for any potentially overwhelming situation. Her experience includes: * consulting film directors on British Royal protocols for the Steven Spielberg movie The BFG; * training Miss BC contestants in etiquette from 2012-17; * teaching etiquette in a sales environment to DesJardins Financial Security representatives; * advising pharmaceutical company representatives on business and social etiquette; * speaking at private education centres in Hong Kong; * and offering a manners and dining etiquette after-school program for students at inner city schools. A former British nanny who also spent years working in the financial services industry as a top-ranked director of business development, Elizabeth was drawn to etiquette coaching in large part due to her family history. Her lineage includes a Toastmaster at a luxury hotel in London, an etiquette advisor for visiting royalty and dignitaries, and a great-aunt who designed fine accessories and monograms in turn-of-the century Italy, including the logo Elizabeth uses today. Regardless of social or economic standing, Elizabeth’s mission is to help people engage with everyone equally and respectfully.
