About Elkhart Tri-Went Industrial
ETI specializes in short-to-medium run parts requiring a high degree of difficulty to produce. We engineer and produce continuous tubular designs where others would require brazing, joints or connectors. This greatly reduces stress and failure points, increases reliability and reduces overall costs by eliminating secondary operations (less labor and material). With dedicated tooling departments at each of our three locations, we use innovative methods to rapidly create prototypes and support our customers in new product design and testing. ETI has a patented extrusion process for forming complex metal parts. Our specialized tooling developed and produced in-house utilizes heat and pressure to produce near net shape components with virtually no porosity. This results in up to a 30% decrease in scrap over die cast parts, increasing throughput in production and more importantly, significant improvement in wear, load and mechanical properties.
