Elmecon are a worldwide electro-mechanical design consultancy specialising in Medium Voltage Switchgear equipment, based in Nottingham, U.K. Elmecon are specialists in the following areas:- • Circuit breaker designs. We have successfully produced designs for vacuum circuit breakers that have been certified up to 80kA. Our portfolio includes both premium high end circuit breakers and low cost circuit breakers. • Vacuum interrupter circuit breaker technology. Regardless of whether the circuit breaker is in the form of a ring main unit or a pole mounted recloser, if it has a vacuum interrupter in it, then we have a vast pool of experience to help you. • Arc resistant enclosure designs. We have produced indoor circuit breaker enclosure designs that have been successfully certified up to ALFR 50kA / 1s. • Ring main units.
