About ELTAS

ELTAS is one of the smallest consulting engineering firms in Denmark, specialized in power generation and supply. We provide our customers with highly competent electrotechnical advice and support in this field - on a freelance basis. Examples of tasks within our scope of work: - Technical issues related to grid connection of production and consumption units - Optimization of power system control; especially systems with a high level of renewable energy - Optimization of voltage and frequency regulation - Specification of equipment for transmission, distribution and production - ‘Forensic analysis’ of complex faults and malfunctions - Design and calculation of protection systems - Power quality issues - Ad-hoc assistance to project and commissioning teams, operational staff and similar ELTAS is owned by Liv Hartelius Vinter and Peter Hartelius Vinter. We have a total of 35 years experience from the power supply industry within network planning, installation, operation, troubleshooting and optimization of power systems. Formerly, we have worked for distribution and transmission companies in the renewables sector and with consultancy companies. Examples are DONG Energy, Semco Maritime and P.A.P Consulting Engineers. As individuals, we are curious and inquisitive and are used to working in different corporation cultures and with different types of people. Liv is fast to acquire new knowledge, keen to optimize technology and processes and has a fresh and creative approach to her tasks. Peter is focussed on the details, has a great knowledge to draw from and is a natural communicator of complex technical issues.
