The candidates attending these sessions learn the terminology and jargon used in the industry, the success factors required, the risks and mitigation plans amongst many other topics. It is a simplified course to encourage participation, They gain knowledge and understanding of the whole value chain, i.e. Upstream: Exploration and Production of crude oil and gas; Pricing. Midstream: Refining, storage, and distribution; Downstream: Trading, Sales and Marketing in the Commercial & Industrial sectors, Wholesaling and then Retail in terms of owning and operating a fuel service station. After attending the training they should be able to engage in conversations that may lead to deal creation.
