About Embark Supported Employment
Embark Supported Employment is a non-profit community-based rehabilitation agency whose mission is to support individuals as they discover their dreams through meaningful employment and community engagement. We are a well-established Superior, Wisconsin-based organization that is under new leadership with a team of talented and dedicated staff, and a committed board of directors. Along with a healthy balance sheet and nearly $800,000 of annual revenue, the organization has many motivated and talented participants who already work or want to work in the community. About Our Important Work The services provided by Embark support people with barriers to employment so that they can find and maintain meaningful, paid jobs. These services are provided under contract from the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, Wisconsin Medical Assistance Long-Term Care, Douglas County, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Head of the Lakes United Way, and others. Many community businesses partner with us to employ people. Some of these include the Husky Superior Refinery, Swanstrom Tools, Superior Business Center and Ravin Crossbows. This Place Rocks! We are positioning ourselves to expand and diversify our services in order to respond to the needs of our participants, funders and community stakeholders.
