Embodied Ecology, founded by soil ecologist and systems thinker Ceri Flook, works with farmers, food growers, and land-based communities to cultivate soils that are biologically rich, resilient, and regenerative. Drawing on soil ecology, microbiology, medical anthropology, eco-somatics, and ancestral ways of knowing, Embodied Ecology bridges science and practice to support land stewards in building fertility that nourishes plants, people, and planet. Through workshops, microscopy training, and immersive residencies, Embodied Ecology offers tailored soil regeneration programs that respond to the unique context of each farm or community. The work is hands-on, collaborative, and rooted in reciprocity, transforming waste streams into fertility, building practical skills, and nurturing deeper relationships between people and the land they care for.
