About Embodywise

Our mission is to support the evolution of embodied healing professionals to create a more compassionate, conscious, and connected humankind. In a world fragmented by individual and collective trauma, healing necessitates the development of the whole human being. We stand firm in our commitment to training from the "inside out", focusing on immersive, experiential, and interactive learning experiences. We believe our status as a nonprofit is a competitive advantage for remaining in integrity with and keeping our focus on the modalities that really serve individual and collective healing. It also allows us to deeply cultivate a community and prioritize accessibility. We offer comprehensive learning experiences aimed at cultivating embodied therapeutic presence and skills. Our goal is to facilitate transformational therapy experiences by honing both the relational skillset and the internal capacity of helping professionals to grapple with human complexity. Becoming an embodied healing professional begins with a willingness to inquire into the mystery of lived experience. This can be done by accessing the intelligence of the body for self discovery. This personal knowledge is essential when working somatic methods with clients and groups. Transforming trauma, learning methodologies that help others to heal and grow are not just top down learning paths. They require learning from the wisdom body, which takes time, intention, and practice to develop as a skilled somatic healing practitioner. Our professional training integrates somatic psychology with evidence-based, embodied mindfulness practices and includes ongoing supervised practice. This blend of traditional and contemporary methods equips our learners with the necessary skills and confidence to effectively navigate deep trauma healing. Our programs also emphasize nurturing a more regulated nervous system, a key factor in becoming an integrated therapist, healer, and leader.
