About EMCE architecture
Having studied architecture in University College Dublin and AA Denmark graduating in 2004, and working for over 5 years in award winning design based architecture practices in Ireland and New York, Eoin McElroy has been working independently since 2009 in the fields of teaching, collaborative research and architectural practice, establishing EMCE Architecture in this period. EMCE Architecture practice focuses on the specificity and uniqueness of every context, client and brief, encompassing a flair for design and pragmatic rigour within an open, holistic and environmentally conscientious approach. Project experience ranges from large urban scale to smaller domestic projects, involving both public and private clients, from inception design to on-site construction. Currently teaching at Queens University Belfast's Architecture faculty, with continuing research and qualifications also obtained in the fields of Education, Conservation, Passive House Design and Multi-Disciplinary Design.
