About EMG Inclusive Supports
EMG Inclusive Supports: Providing inclusive, community-driven supports allowing individuals to remain connected to community, country, and culture. We started out with a simple but powerful idea: communities will know best how to support their people to strengthen health and wellbeing. In remote parts of Australia, especially across the Gulf of Carpentaria and Cape York Peninsula, we saw that early NDIS support services weren't working. The few services that did exist early in the scheme relied mainly on fly-in-fly-out workforces and too often didn’t understand local needs or respect local cultures. Our approach is different; we believe in hiring local people, training them in their communities, and allowing them to lead our program. We work side by side with communities, listening to local voices and learning. Our team comes from the communities we assist, which means we understand the local challenges, languages, and ways of doing things, and grow strong, skilled workforces right where they are needed. Looking ahead, we're excited for the future. We will keep learning, keep growing, and keep supporting communities to be strong, proud, and self-sufficient. We're not about quick fixes - we're about creating long-term change, driven by the people who know their community best. Inclusive supports are more than just a name and service for us, they are the process and result of respect, understanding, and believing in the incredible potential of local communities.
