About Emirates National Schools
ENS first opened its doors in 2002 in Mohamed bin Zayed City. ENS was established by a Presidential Decree and is owned by the Ministry of Presidential Affairs. ENS currently consists of five campuses. Three of the campuses are located in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, in Mohammed Bin Zayed City, Al Ain City, and Abu Dhabi City. And the other two new campuses are in the Emirates of Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah. The number of students has grown to 8000 students in the academic year 2015/2016. ENS Vision: Preparing future leaders through innovation in education and treasuring of cultural heritage ENS Mission: Emirates National School will provide students with educational programs that develop character, use technology to improve learning, and prepare students to be leaders and community members. Faculty: ENS proudly attracts certified and experienced teachers from all around the world to ensure the teaching process is delivered to our students in the most modern and up to date methods. Accreditations: All Abu Dhabi Emirate ENS campus schools ( Al Ain City, Abu Dhabi City and Mohammed Bin Zayed City) are authorized International Baccalaureate World Schools. These three Campuses offer the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (PYP), Middle Years Program (MYP) and Diploma Program (DP). The primary schools in both Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah are candidates for IB Primary Years Program authorization. The Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah campuses anticipate completing the authorization process for the PYP program during the 2016 – 2017 academic year. The Al Ain City Campus became the first campus authorized by International Baccalaureate to offer the PYP, MYP and DP program in the City of Al Ain and was our first ENS campus to attain IB authorization for the three PK through 12 programs in Spring of 2015. The Abu Dhabi City and Mohammed Bin Zayed City Campuses were approved for authorization in the Winter of 2015.
