About Emmanuel Life Management Center
Emmanuel Life Management Center is a not-for-profit organization established in 2010 to address the increasing challenges of the youths. Recent studios done y statistic Canada has revealed that youth crime rates is on the rise, unemployment rate is in a state of turmoil, and drug abuse by youth is an alarming issue. Positively the graduation rate rose to 75 per cent in 2006/07 from 68 per cent in 2003/04. But despite the improvement, Statistics Canada says about one in five Canadians over the age of 20 has not completed high school. Our youth needs to understand the negative impact of neglecting their future responsibility as productive citizens and leaders of society. We at ELMC strive to empower the youths to become responsible citizens and leaders in their families, communities, and the world at large. We provide a daytime drop-in center for counselling in career/education, mental health, and financial, spiritual and legal/housing matters.
