About Emmatt Construction

Emmatt Construction Ltd was started back in April 2014 by Matthew Donaghy with a small team of keen operatives. Our first contract opportunity was with Springfield Properties as a labour and plant sub-contractor on a housing site. We continued our development together with Springfield completing multiple sites cover major aspects of civils works, throughout the central belt, from the earthworks cut and fill initial stage through sewer and road installation, forming substructures, plot drainage then completing sites with the necessary hard landscaping. These civils works have been carried have been particularly challenging, this mainly being due to the brownfield nature of sites that Springfield acquire. In addition to Springfield we have carried out works for other major contractors such as WH Malcolm within the education/health/commercial and industrial sector accomplishing a variety of civil engineering works. Emmatt has grown steadily over the past four years with an increase in resources and as a result of we have managed to increase our turnover and associated profits in a controlled and secure manner. Over the past eighteen months we have taken further steps to insure further growth, this has been achieved by supplying the required labour, plant and material for some of the contracts we have carried out. With the encouraging results from the past few years we are motivated to continue into a well-established sub-contractor within the Scottish industry.
