About Emmliss Consultancy - Improving the Quality of Health and Social Care
Emmliss is a Health and Social Care Consultancy. We deliver senior executive support and hands-on delivery of advice and programs that transform Health and Social Care provision. We are fully supportive of preventing dependency, assisting independence and prioritising wellbeing. We are passionate about improving the Adult Care service that local authorities deliver to citizens and service users, and the design, negotiation, commissioning and monitoring of strategic service contracts that deliver this: ▪ Quality – we help providers of health care and social care to achieve consistent quality of patient care to agreed standards by supporting robust contract monitoring and performance management across key care services: Prevention End of Life Care Urgent Care Intermediate to Long Term conditions Social support Intermediate care - residential, nursing home provision and domiciliary care Dementia Occupational Therapy services Mental Health services • Integration Agenda – we review care pathways in the multi-agency environment of adult care provision to improve inter-agency connections and the transition steps between providers that affect patient care. We recognise that services must be sensitive to patient needs such as location and family proximity. ▪ Value – we support the Better Care Fund Plan, fit–for-purpose assessment and fair cost of care agenda. We help providers assess cost and value against benchmarks to identify potential savings. We help with capacity planning and optimization across a complex provider network where there is huge potential to deliver more with less. We help providers to identify improvements and negotiate contract changes. If you, or your executive colleagues, would like to discuss any of these areas, and explore options for systemic diagnostic and processes for contract review or related topics please get in touch with Elizabeth Saunders at info@emmlissconsultancy.org.uk.
