In 2015, Mr. Kenny Chien (简仁贤) founded Emotibot Technologies Limited, inspired by the movie “HER”, with a mission to develop an AI-powered sociable robot that can truly understand human language and interact with human on a human-like fashion. With this mission, Emotibot wants to bring the bi-directional conversational engine to enable the world of commerce a brand new conversational interface with human-like experience to improve customer experiences, improve quality of customer service, and reduce cost of serving customers. To achieve this goal, Emotibot focuses on the fundamentals of a useful bi-direction dialog system which not only understands the language, but also understands human emotion and intent during conversation, to truly understand the meaning of the conversation.
