Like in a real glass plant, all key competences are available: From batch & melting, production, mould design, quality management to company strategy. The teams experience originates from professional careers in well known packaging companies: Sorg, Emhart, Heye-Glas, Crown-Cork and Seal, Barbosa&Almeida and many others. The company is located in the surroundings of Lisbon/Portugal, where is the main office and the training facilities for customers located. Mission & Vision Empakglass is a packaging company with its main focus on glass. That is why its mission is to help to develop the global glass markets to become stronger and more competitive. Competitiveness is strongly associated with costs, but not only. There are other important business-KPI´s which can create success, or not. In our globalized world of today we see a rising importance of global quality standards, time-to-market, OTIF, carbon footprint,.... Global concentration in all levels from raw materials, equipment for manufacturing, in the whole chain from packaging production to filling demands higher performance levels.
