About Empowered Growth Counselling

We are a talking therapies service to help you work through life's challenges and to empower you to make the changes to your life that you want to make. Trained in a pluralistic approach, we use a combination of person-centred, psychodynamic and CBT methods to help you make sense of the disorganisation, to understand the anxious thoughts, to overcome your limiting beliefs and to feel calmer in your nervous system. We specialise in relationship issues and attachment styles, helping you to understand and look deeper into what you really value and want from a relationshio, while identifying your underlying needs. We also specialise in period and gynaecological conditions, specifically endometriosis and fibroids, helping women to feel empowered while coming to terms with these conditions, alongside processing their diagnosis, understanding the impact it may be having on them mentally and emotionally and talking through their thoughts around their treatment or surgery options. Alongside these specialties, we are also trained in substance abuse and addiction, having worked with those in active addiction and recovery.
