About Empyrean Roots

🌍 Empyrean Roots is a regenerative systems studio in development, creating tools and frameworks for healing land, body, and spirit. Co-founded by a healer and a systems thinker, Empyrean Roots explores how we can remember our place in the world through earth-based materials, circular design, and ancestral wisdom. Our work begins with listening to the land, to our nervous systems, and to what wants to emerge through repair. The initiatives we're currently developing include:- • Earthen housing using SEB (Stabilized Earth Blocks) - offering climate-resilient, low-cost construction in Africa, beginning in the East. • Biochar and briquettes from agricultural waste - restoring depleted soils while providing accessible, renewable energy. • Organic fibre textiles - designed to be sensory-considerate and neurodivergent-friendly, reconnecting material to care. Also, we're guided by the understanding that the Congo Basin, currently the world’s largest in-ground carbon sink and one of Earth’s last living lungs, must be protected and regenerated. There4, our work in land, design, and healing is deeply tied to this vision of conservation, care, and continuity. Our green blueprint is still in its foundational phase: guided by vision, research, and relationship. Rather than rushing to market, we’re planting a future where regeneration is a birthright. We'll serve those who seek alternatives to extraction - those who know in their gut that true healing includes our bodies, our communities, and the soil beneath our feet 👣.
