Emsco Group, originally the THEO J. ELY company, was founded in 1867. The company's original product lines consisted of products such as wooden mop buckets, mop handles, and related cleaning items, carpet beaters, cross cut saw handles, cow pokes, buggy whips, all considered cutting edge in the mid 1800's. Theo's mantra was to solve problems through innovation and function, always keeping value and customer service in the forefront of his thinking. Our main manufacturing and distribution facilities in Girard, PA are located centrally for shipping products efficiently across the country, or across the globe. Our sales and marketing department, with more than 200 sales reps are in tune with all of the major mass marketers in the USA, inclusive of food, drug, discount and home improvement, retailers, and wholesalers.
